The FO Holding GmbH is an owner-led single family office based in Düsseldorf that manages the private assets of an entrepreneurial family. The FO Holding directly invests in various asset classes, including small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups. To support our team in Düsseldorf, we are looking for a Working Student (m/w/d).

What the job offers
We are looking for a motivated and curious Working Student to support us in Düsseldorf for at least 10 hours a week. Your task is to support the team in the identification of investment opportunities into startups and SMEs as well as the management of our portfolio companies. You will work closely with the team and will be involved with responsible tasks from dayone, including:
• Support in deal flow origination and tracking of investment opportunities
• Conduct market research and analyze potential investments with scrutiny as part of the financial and commercial due diligence processes
• Join discussions on final investment decisions
• Support the portfolio post-investment including ongoing performance assessment of portfolio companies
• Contribute in continuously improving the internal processes of the family office

Who we are looking for
• Enrolled students of business, economics or with technical background having completed at least the second year of studies, preferably with focus on and interest in venture capital, M&A, finance
• Previous experience through internships in the areas of consulting, transaction services, startups or investment banking preferable
• Strong analytical skills with a structured, solution-oriented way of working
• Reliable with a confident demeanor, enjoying direct contact with management
• Willingness to show above-average commitment
• Strong communication skills and team player
• Ability and willingness to work from our office in Düsseldorf
• Fluent in German and English
