Job Description Summary
In this internship you will have the opportunity to develop and improve state of the art heat exchanger equipment for emerging businesses. An introduction into GE’s existing heat exchanger equipment design and design process will be provided.

The focus of this internship is directed to supporting development of new heat exchanger products, with a spotlight on thermal design of new heat exchanger products.

Job Description
Roles and responsibilities:

This internship will be focused on researching and modelling heat transfer physics and developing state of the art calculation tools. You will be involved in cutting edge product development, with contribution in technical development and solving heat transfer problems. Furthermore, modelling and simulating of heat transfer physics and hydraulic calculation in 3rd party and in-house applications.

Qualifications/requirements:

o    Graduating Bachelor or Master student in Mechanical Engineering Faculties, or equivalent knowledge or experience

o    Interest and/or experience in heat and mass transfer physics

o    Technical Knowledge of heat exchanger products is considered as a plus.

o    Knowledge of programming in C++ and python is considered as a plus.

o    High level of motivation, communication skills and autonomy

o    Fluent in English (oral and written).

Start date of 1st March and 1st April is negotiable.
