Machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) are increasingly being used in rocket production to increase quality and efficiency. An important aspect in the realization of AI projects is the development of software systems that specifically supports experts on the shop floor through visualizations and explanations. The goal of this work is therefore to develop a software system that can be operated interactively by an expert from production and that can properly depict the results of trained ML models.

What you will do

  • Familiarization with the state of the art for software development
  • Selection and implementation of frameworks for front-end and back-end developments
  • Close coordination with production experts to ensure software usability
  • Evaluation and documentation of the results

What you bring to the table

  • You are studying mechanical engineering, computer science, industrial engineering or a comparable subject
  • Initial experience in the field of software development is an advantage
  • A high degree of initiative and team spirit
  • Very good language skills in German and English
