In the department »fiber composite technology«, we deal with the process and machine development for technical products made from fiber reinforced plastics.
As a student assistant you support our team by working on production machines that enable resource- and cost-efficient products such as thermoplastic hydrogen tanks and pipes made from carbon composites. This may include the construction of machine elements, production and recycling of prototypes and preparation of test specimen.
Here you partly work on your tasks on site in our institute or in our machine park.
What you will do
- Support of public and industrial projects for the production/recycling of carbon composites
- Implementation of innovative machine elements and production processes
What you bring to the table
- You are studying mechanical engineering, computer science, CES or a comparable subject
- Solid background in mechanical engineering and logical thinking
- Skills in handcraft are advantageous
- A high degree of motivation, initiative and team spirit
- Good language skills in German and/or English
