Our Profile
The Center Construction Robotics (CCR) closes the digital chain in construction from planning and
production to realisation. In an interdisciplinary team and consortium of international industry
part- ners, we are working on machine automation, the use of robot-assisted construction processes,
dig- ital interfaces, additive manufacturing processes and intelligent construction site mapping.
The Reference Construction Site serves as a real laboratory where new construction processes and
products, networked machines, the use of robots, software solutions as well as teaching, working
and communication concepts are tested under real construction site conditions.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Director to lead our team. The successful
candidate will be responsible for encompassing budgeting, scheduling and connecting Center mem-
bers and their interests. Its task includes the coordination of partners and the top-level
management of projects. Ensuring transparent communication to identify cross-cutting links between
members is crucial

Responsibilities
â–  Utilize excellent management and leadership skills to oversee the plan- ning, execution, and
completion of projects as well as leading a team of 5 employees.
â–  Facilitate communication between Center members, including industry partners, project team
members, re- search institutes and other parties
â–  Establishing and coordinating cooper- ative initiatives with the industrial part- ners of
CCR.
â–  Serving as leading coordinator be- tween the industrial members and project
stakeholders.
â–  Meet with Center members to discuss project requirements, goals, and ob- jectives
â–  Utilize financial skills to monitor pro- ject budgets and expenses and make necessary adjustments
as needed

â–  Work with industry and academia to define projects that align with the strategy of the
CCR
â–  Mediate and connect members to col- laboration and effective workflows
â–  Coordinating faculty overarching profes- sors and labs at Aachen University
â–  Report to the scientific Board Members, the shareholders of CCR as well as to the CEO

Your Profile
â–  Completed university studies in the technical or commercial field
â–  Experience in project management or related field (incl. Workshop organisa- tion)
â–  Experience in Innovation Manage- ment or Open Innovation
â–  Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
â–  Excellent organizational and time- management skills
â–  Ability to work collaboratively with di- verse teams
â–  Proficient in financial management and project budgeting
â–  Willingness to travel for the coopera- tion with our international partners
â–  Fluent in German and English, French is advantageous

Aachen. We offer an office directly on RWTH campus, including the use of the CCR vehicle.
