The Process Research and Chemical Engineering Division brings together a variety of competencies, including inorganic chemistry, organic synthesis, battery materials research, catalysis, process development and technology, as well as technical services for laboratories/technical centers. In interdisciplinary global teams, we develop innovative products, processes and technologies for a sustainable future and work with internal partners and customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As working student, you have the opportunity to gain work experience in programming evaluation tools for laboratory experiments as well as for site support.

  • You work within a mutidisciplaniary team, consisting of Engineers, Chemists, and Data Scientists and support by programming new features for our lab data evaluation tools.
  • Moreover, you set up data evaluation tools for plant support according to given technical and content specifications.
  • Last but not least, you actively support in programming basic functionalities for data science.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • ongoing studies in computer science, computer engineering or business- and bioinformatics
  • knowledge or experience in Python
  • interest in domain knowledge in the area of chemical process technology and lab automation
  • independent way of working and high level of commitment
  • good communication skills in Englisch and conversational skills in German as a nice to have
